Say goodbye to Yangon!

City hall again, with Sule Paya on the left.

The other view from the park

More from around the park.

I believe this is Yangon Region Court, but I'm not 100%

I believe this is Yangon Region Court.

Near or at the Strand Hotel, I cant remember, nice home for a bird!

Sunset from outside the Strand Hotel.

Port Authority Building. Check out the cool little ship shields above the columns. These are all the old, amazing colonial buildings from the Yangon waterfront(which is now facing a big road, seen in the sunset picture.)

Lokanat Gallery Building. This is Italian style colonial and was constructed by a Jewish-Baghdadi Isaac A. Sofaer.

The scene from inside the building.

and more.....

And one final picture from inside. The tiles were imported from Manchester. This is actually a really common looking building interior for downtown Yangon.

Electricity in Myanmar is really spotty. There are power outages constantly. every building in Myanmar has a little power setup in the lobby where there are all kinds of machines, regulators, etc. This is one of the most antiquated ones I saw.

The park with Sule Paya in the background.

The bus stop outside Sule Paya.
